The paintings below are really just giant still lifes. A certain part of the Sierra foothills in northern California used to have a lot of this kind of subject. Then one of the county supervisors got the bright idea to reclaim abandoned vehicles and sell the metal. Broke my heart. I suppose not everybody had the same sense of aesthetics. Spoiled the landscape if you ask me. Sorry, they’re all sold. That was another lifetime.
